Violence risk assessment
My work on violence risk assessment includes the examination of violence risk management and violence risk communication. I examine the validity of risk assessment tools, how risk assessment tools are taught to evaluators and used in practice as well as how risk is managed and communicated.
To conduct this research, I have collaborated with police, forensic mental health facilities and educators and used court cases as sources of material.
